We had Mason's party before his birthday this year since we'll be on vacation on his actual birthday. It was a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party at our house with just our immediate friends and family. We tried to keep it small so we wouldn't overwhelm Mason. He had a really great time and only had one, albeit major, meltdown right around cake time. He is a lucky boy to be so loved!
