Maddon's Elmo & Cookie Party

This year Maddon had his party at home with just our immediate family and friends. It was Elmo and Cookie Monster themed. He had a great time seeing everybody and celebrating turning two! He's a very loved little boy!

Two Years

My little baby Maddon is suddenly two years old! It's crazy how fast time flies! He is a goofy little guy who constantly tries to keep up with his big brother. His vocabulary is rapidly expanding and he's doing a good job of trying to form sentences. He is very interested in letters/numbers and knows the vast majority of the alphabet. He does a great job with the potty (with the exception of car rides) and is becoming more and more independent. He loves the Cat in the Hat, Sponge Bob and the Ghostbusters. He is very attached to "my blanket." Blocks and trains (especially Thomas and Percy) are some of his favorite toys. He is growing up way too fast!

He now weighs 28 pounds, 10 ounces, is 2 feet 11.5 inches tall, and has a head circumference of 18.5 inches.

Food Truck Rally 5K & Fun Run

This past weekend Devin and Mason took part in the Food Truck Rally 5K and Fun Run. It was a nice little event with a fun run for the kids as well as a bouncy house, games, and face painting. There were a bunch of food trucks too! Mason ran the kids run first and then took part in some of the kids activities while Daddy and Maddon ran the 5K!

Apple Picking

The boys had so much fun at Jonamac Orchard last year that we decided to go back this year to do some apple picking. It really is a great place for the boys. They have lots of fun stuff to do, but not so much that it's crowded and overwhelming! Maddon really got a kick out of picking the apples this year, although they mostly went straight to his mouth. Both kids were thrilled to top the day off with a train ride and apple cider donuts!
