"Big Boy" Swim Class

Along with turning three comes "big boy" swim lessons. He's been ready for this move up for awhile, but had to be three to take this class. For the first time he goes in the water without a parent. He loves this class and is doing a great job!

"Digger Party"

This was the first year that Mason was really into his birthday. He asked for a digger party and so that's what he got. We had construction outfits, piñata, and a sundae bar. To top it all off we also had a special cake made by Auntie Erica. I know he had an awesome time! He is lucky to have such great family & friends.

Happy 3rd Birthday Mason!

It's crazy to think that our little guy is 3! He is becoming quite a funny kid with a distinct personality. He loves music/dancing, sports, cars, trains, animals (especially dinosaurs) and helping Mommy & Daddy whenever he can. He just moved into his "big boy Spiderman room" and transitioned very easily. He dresses himself and wants to do everything independently. He's loving going to school and is making friends. His 3 year check up went well (he didn't even need shots)! He's surpassed all of his 3 year old milestones and had fun showing Dr. Dave everything he can do! He officially graduated to the big boy scale and was measured like a big boy too! He was 38.3 inches tall and weighed 35.1 lbs. We're so proud of the little boy he's becoming! To celebrate his birthday we went bowling the day before and to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner (one of his favorites). This was his first time bowling and he seems to love it! He also had a great time dancing in the bowling alley!

On his actual birthday Mason enjoyed taking his treat bags to preschool and getting to celebrate with his friends. He wore his birthday crown all day long!
For dinner he decided to go to Choo Choo Johnny's. He had a good time riding on the train and having them sing to him and deliver his food and ice cream on a train!
We came home and sang and had ice cream cake. Hopefully he wished for something good!

Chicago Marathon

This year Devin decided to run the Chicago Marathon. We spent the night before the race downtown and brought Auntie Erica along. Mason loved all the festivities surrounding the race and watching Daddy run (although he wanted to get on the course and run with Daddy).
