Step Up Ceremony

Today was Mason's last day of preschool and all of the kids' families were invited for a "step up" ceremony. The kids all (except Mason) did a little performance of their favorite songs from the year. Then, after reading a favorite story, each child was invited to come up and receive their certificate. Overall it was a cute day which provided further reassurance that my child has acquired some of my personality!

Happy Mother's Day

Like most holidays this year, Mason really got into Mother's Day. I was greeted in the morning with lots of love and gifts. Mason made a special card and picture frame in school which even came with a picture of the two of us from his Spring Tea to go in it! He worked with Daddy to make me an absolutely adorable vase too! We went to brunch with Auntie Erica & Grandma Monica and then headed home for some R & R. It was such a great day!

Gender Reveal

We had our 20 week ultrasound to check the baby's structures and to find out its gender. We brought Mason along so he could see the baby and hear its heartbeat. He thought it was pretty cool and was excited to learn that he's going to have a baby brother!

Spring Tea

A few weeks ago I received an invitation from my little man to his Spring Tea at school. Of course, I couldn't say no! It was such a cute event. The kids (well, most of them) sang us some songs and then escorted us to their places at the table for "tea" and snacks. They put so much work into it and were all so excited to share the day with their guest.

I'm a little teapot (of course Mason had been singing this around the house for days, but looked annoyed when he had to perform it!)
