Halloween Trolley Ride

We had an opportunity to take the Naperville Trolley Company's Halloween tour last night. Maddon wasn't too sure about some of the houses and preferred to view from the trolley. Mason thought it was awesome though! Overall it was a fun family night out!

Pumpkin Picking and Carving

This year the boys wanted to just go pick pumpkins. Mason asked to go to a specific place so that's what we did! It was super cold, but the people there were very nice even giving us some free pumpkins. We carved them the same day, but neither kid was much into the guts. Nevertheless, they got the pumpkins they requested...Pennywise and Peppa Pig!

Happy 7th Birthday Mason

Mason is 7! Where did the time go? He is turning into such an amazing young man who certainly keeps us busy. He loves his MMA, soccer, and is even starting basketball soon. He is a great helper at school and is doing a great job academically. He is such a sweetheart and a great big brother. He's developing his own sense of style (refusing jeans and wanting only "comfy clothes"). He is even going for his own "fancy haircuts" now. We're so proud of him! He requested a laser tag party this year for his friends and Chuck E. Cheese for dinner. We also did a combined family birthday dinner for the boys this year at Shinto (they were both fascinated by the meal prep). No more birthday doctor checkups, as he's on the school schedule now. His last visit had him measuring in at 4'1" and 55 lbs. 10 oz.

Mother-Son Superhero Ball

I had the pleasure of taking the boys to the mother-son superhero ball last night. We had a BLAST!! The decorations were all so cute, dinner was yummy, and the boys danced the night away! They got to interact with superheroes and make new friends. We closed the party, with the boys even getting a photo with the DJ. This was such an awesome event. We hope to attend again next year!

PJ Masks Live

One of Maddon's birthday presents was tickets to see PJ Masks Live! He LOVED the show and keeps asking to see it again! We had a great time in the city and topped the night off with dinner at Rainforest Cafe!
