Mason had his last basketball game of this season today and I must say that he's improved. This is the first time that he's played basketball so we weren't sure what to expect. From season beginning, though, he's started to be more comfortable with the game. His next season starts in a couple of weeks and we can't wait to see him grow more!

Brunch with Santa
Erica's birthday dinner this year was brunch with Santa at Wheatstack. We had a prime seat right by the big guy and got to eat lots of yummy food too! The boys reminded Santa of what they'd like for Christmas and assured him that they've been good boys!

Mr. Bear
This past weekend, Maddon got to bring Mr. Bear home from preschool. He was very excited to be the first kid to bring him home. Mr. Bear was around when Mason was in preschool so we were ready to welcome him back into our home. Maddon had to take Mr. Bear around with him all weekend and then we had to complete the journal entry of his travels. He was a busy bear this weekend.

We had a really great experience with a new photographer this year. She was super sweet and did a great job! We look forward to working with her again! Here are a few of our favorites!

Illuminations
We went to the Morton Arboretum's Illuminations light show last night for the first time. It was a beautiful night to be outside and check out all of the lights. The kids seemed to enjoy it and it was cool to try something new!

Santa
We continued our annual tradition of going to see Santa before having lunch at Rainforest Cafe! Both boys did well and told Santa what they wanted: Mason-an iPad and Maddon-PJ Masks headquarters. They were excited to see the big guy and are looking forward to Christmas!

Happy Halloween
Halloween, this year, was a busy day in our house. We started out the day at Maddon's school halloween party. He wore his Woody costume to school (masks weren't allowed so he didn't want to wear Robin without the mask). He sang songs, made a ghost, decorated a pumpkin, and played games. After school we went out to get his free halloween pizza at MOD. By the time we got home we needed to head over to Mason's school for his costume parade! Once Mason got home from school we bundled up the boys and headed out trick-or-treating with Aubrey and Ellie. Mason even met more friends along the way so our group kept growing. This was our first year trick-or-treating in our own neighborhood and it turned out well!

Halloween Trolley Ride
We had an opportunity to take the Naperville Trolley Company's Halloween tour last night. Maddon wasn't too sure about some of the houses and preferred to view from the trolley. Mason thought it was awesome though! Overall it was a fun family night out!
