Fall Soccer

Mason had his last soccer game of the season today. It has been fun watching him improve this year. He played on a team with a fun group of boys and made some good friends. we hope to see some of them again in the Spring!

Six Years

Mason is six! It's hard to say where the last six years went and how this guy grew up so fast. He started kindergarten this year and that has officially made his attitude "grow up." He has lost two teeth and is already learning to read. He is obsessed with Legos and also enjoys coloring, anything Star Wars, and playing board games. He is starting to enjoy video games (especially with Daddy), as well. Soccer is still his sport of choice and he plans to play in the Spring again. Unfortunately, he was sick on his birthday and had to stay home from school. We tried to make the best of it, though. He went to Fright Fest at Great America the day before and we delayed his trip to Chuck e Cheese a few days! Happy birthday Mase Man!

Pumpkin Picking

This year we went to Johansen Farms for our pumpkins. The boys just wanted to get pumpkins and donuts and Johansen is super close to our house. It was a win! It was very challenging to obtain a photo where both boys were looking and smiling, but we tried anyway! They picked out two awesome pumpkins (one weighs more than Maddon!) and enjoyed plenty of donuts. We couldn't have asked for a better weather day either!

Tooth Fairy

Mason finally lost a tooth! He's had a couple loose ones for awhile now and we thought they might never fall out! He lost the first one Sunday night, though, and was super excited! The tooth fairy came and left him a little something. The following morning tooth number two popped out! He's growing up so fast!

Mason's 6th Birthday Party

This year Mason had his first all friend birthday party. He wanted a bowling and arcade party so we had it at Main Event. The kids got to bowl before having pizza and cake. Then they were free to play in the arcade. Everyone seemed to have a great time! The place was very nice and was an overall win!

Orange Ruler

Mason's big school fundraiser this year was the Orange Ruler fun run. The kids were super excited and ended up having a beautiful day to run! Mason's portion of the run was followed by the pig race where the top 10 classes got pigs to decorate and race. Mason's class came in third so their pig, Minty, got to race the others! The kids had a blast and raised a good amount of money for Patterson. Thank you to all who donated!

Because the school made their fundraising goal, Mrs. Frost (the principal) agreed to set up her RV outside school and let the kids visit for snack. Here is Mason outside her RV.
