Eleven Months

It's crazy to think that Maddon is almost one! I feel like we just brought him home from the hospital!! He is growing up so fast. At eleven months, he has eight teeth and is doing a nice job of standing on his own briefly. He is able to take about three or four steps IF he paces himself, but he typically tries to take off running and falls! He loves to dance, clap, and wave bye bye. He also enjoys shaking hands and is getting better at telling us what he wants by pointing or saying this/that. He continues to adore his brother. They spend a large part of their days giggling at each other! Photos aren't always easy to obtain anymore (unless they're selfies-he loves to look at himself). This was the best one with his blocks (even with a snack used as a bribe)!

A Day Out With Thomas

While Daddy was out golfing, this past weekend, the boys and I headed to the Illinois Railway Museum for their "Day Out With Thomas" event. It was a beautiful day and we all had a blast. They had many things for the kids to do including storytelling, blocks, train tables, inflatables, and the main event...Thomas and Percy rides. We made sure to check out the trains that the museum had on exhibit and stopped by all of the activity tents. We even met Sir Topham Hatt! We ended our day with Thomas and Percy rides!
