At 7 months old, this little guy is developing quite the personality! He's such a happy boy! He has mastered the skill of rolling and uses it as a mode of transportation. We are still waiting for his first tooth to pop through, but anticipate that it will be any day now! He's becoming vocal and we're anxious to hear what that first word will be. He's doing a great job eating, but it really starting to fight "baby food" so were transitioning him to table food. No doctor appointment this month, but he is still trending on the long and lean side!

Happy Easter!
Mason had been asking for days if the Easter bunny was going to leave him eggs in our backyard. He was so excited to find some there on Easter morning. He was so anxious to wake up his brother so that they could follow the bunny's footprints to the eggs and to their baskets. He was a great big brother and helped Maddon look through his basket. Then we got ready to head to Grandma's to hunt for more eggs before going to brunch at Cog Hill.

Egg Hunts & Egg Coloring
This year we were able to attend the same two egg hunts that we did last year. Mason was so excited to go and even explained to Maddon that next year he can get eggs too! The first one went well. He even won two free kids meals at Texas Roadhouse (Daddy was excited about that too!). We went to Red Robin for lunch after the first hunt and then went to the festivities at church! We went out to dinner to celebrate Daddy's birthday and capped off the night by coloring eggs. We gave Mason a little more freedom this year with them. He actually impressed me with his neatness. I was afraid we were going to have a multi-colored kitchen when we were done!

Six Months
Maddon has officially been with us for half of a year and it's really hard to remember life before him! He is happy little guy who is growing so fast! He is going a great job sitting independently. He will just sit and play with toys for quite awhile. He hasn't yet mastered rolling from back to belly, but is super close. The doctor said that his motor skills are excellent and he is super strong so we shouldn't worry that he's not rolling yet. He has dropped a feeding and now has breast milk four times a day. We are increasing his solids to three times a day and are introducing meats to him, although so far he isn't a fan! He is still long and slender, but is gaining weight appropriately. He now weighs 16 lbs. 11 oz. (30th percentile), is 27.5 inches long (81st percentile) and has a head circumference of 17 inches.
