Happy New Year!

Maddon's First Christmas

This Christmas was so much fun. Not only was it Maddon's first, but also Mason was at the perfect age to really understand the holiday! On Christmas Eve the boys took a trip to visit Nana and then Mason & I headed to Christmas Eve mass. Once we got home, it was time to leave cookies and carrots out for Santa and his reindeer (Mason was adamant about it this year).

 Later in the day it was time for the Zdenek family Christmas. Mason was thrilled to have everyone come over for dinner and more presents!

The day after Christmas, Mason and Daddy went to visit Papa Randy, Grandma Connie, and Auntie Randa. He had so much fun and has been asking to go back ever since he got home!

Three Months

It's crazy to me that Maddon is already three months old! He is such a laid back, happy baby. He smiles constantly and is getting really good at scooting himself around the floor during tummy time by getting his legs underneath himself. He does a great job sitting in his chairs and has begun to really grab at objects and touch things to explore. He is starting to enjoy toys more and especially loves his gym! He's also good at making us feel guilty for eating in front of him. He stares at our food with this pitiful look on his face as if we should be sharing with him! No doctor checkup this month, but he did have to go in for a weight check since he's been trending near the 25th percentile. He weighed 12 pounds 12 ounces!

Family Snow Day

Mason had his family snow day this past week at school. It was such a cute program and he was so excited to have Grandma, Erica, Mommy, and Maddon there! The kids sang a few songs (Mason even participated this year) and then had crafts and snacks. It was a lot of fun!

Holiday Photos

We finally found time to get some holiday photos taken. This was the first attempt at family photos since Maddon was born and we were nervous about how well the boys would do. We made it out without any screams from Maddon, although we were unable to avoid drool bubbles! Here are a few!

Two Months

Our little guy is two months old already! I have to admit, though, that its hard at times to remember life before him. He's become such a welcome addition to our family and is loved so much by all of us. His personality is starting to show. He smiles and "talks" even more to us. He's mastered rolling from belly to back and is starting to really enjoy playing, especially in his gym. He's been sleeping about 11 hours straight at night since he was about 6 weeks old. He is doing a great job of holding his head up and loves grabbing our hands and pulling to sit up and stand. He had his two month checkup today and the doctor said he's doing great. He was impressed by his strength! 

He now weighs 11 pounds 11 ounces (24th %tile), is 24.75 inches long (88th %tile), and has a head circumference of 15 1/2 (at about 10 weeks).
