Safety Fair

Our town had a safety fair recently which included all the different types of municipal vehicles. The kids were able to climb in them and talk to various representatives about what they do and how to stay safe. We took Mason to see all the trucks and helicopter. He had fun climbing on all of them!

Dave Rudolf

On Saturday we went to Cantigny to see Dave Rudolf play a show. This was particularly exciting for me because I used to go see him as a child. Unfortunately, he didn't play any of the songs that I was hoping he would. Mason had fun dancing and shaking the maracas anyway. As a bonus, it was a beautiful day out!

Kane County Cougars Game

While at the zoo one day, a Cougars rep gave us free tickets for a game. Since we never turn down freebies, we headed to the game with Erica and Tyler. Mason had a good time hanging out with Erica, as always, and eating ballpark food. He also enjoyed the in game entertainment by the Zooperstars.
