Kane County Cougars Game

While at the zoo one day, a Cougars rep gave us free tickets for a game. Since we never turn down freebies, we headed to the game with Erica and Tyler. Mason had a good time hanging out with Erica, as always, and eating ballpark food. He also enjoyed the in game entertainment by the Zooperstars.

New House Photo Shoot

We had some photos taken about a month ago of us in the new house. Mason really liked the photographer so it turned into "the Mason show." It took awhile to get them, but here are our favorites!

A Day in the City

The other day we spent the day downtown with Mason. We started out at Navy Pier where he took his first ferris wheel ride. He had a lot of fun looking at the city from high in the sky!

After the rides we went to Margaritaville for lunch. Mason liked dancing to the music while we ate and also became very fond of this chair. Getting him out of it was quite the chore!
Our next stop was the Chicago Children's Museum, also at Navy Pier. Mason had never been there before and I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to go back soon! They had a lot of exhibits that he enjoyed. Some of his favorites were the firetruck, the water play area, the bug area, and a musical slide.

This child loves anything with a steering wheel
They had a CTA bus set up and if you pushed a button in the back "The Wheels on the Bus" played. This was a hit!
His favorite slide (he rode it non-stop, as evidenced by the blur)

Finally, we met up with Auntie Erica at the Museum of Science of Industry for their Member's Open House. They open the museum up only to members and have some special exhibits and behind the scenes tours. They also had free ice cream! We, however, spent a lot of our time at Mason's favorite exhibit...the circus cat!

Happy Father's Day

Our Father's Day pictures were a bit delayed since most of us were sick. Unfortunately, we didn't do much to celebrate the day. Here's a few Daddy & Mason shots though!

Happy Mother's Day!

To celebrate Mother's Day we went to Harry Caray's for brunch. Mason has a blast running around outside and climbing on the holy cow!
He really wasn't in the mood for pictures (can you tell?)

Mason's First Cubs Game

We decided to take Mason to his very first Cubs game at Miller Park in Milwaukee. We didn't think he was ready to handle Wrigley yet, but Miller Park is a pretty family friendly park so we figured we'd see how he'd do. He actually did a great job staying in his seat! He liked dancing to all the music and clapping (although it was often for the Brewers)!
