A Walk in the Park

Today was a gorgeous day so we took Mason for a walk. While we were out, we stopped by the park and Mason got his first ride on the swing. Even though he's obviously too small for the baby swings, he seemed to enjoy sitting in it and watching the other kids. He even got a few small pushes from Daddy and loved it!

Four Months

It's hard to believe that Mason is four months old already! It seems like he does something new everyday. He's getting better and better at rolling over. He is fascinated by his feet and has started making a lovely high pitched squeal when he's happy. He giggles more than ever too! Mason's four month doctor visit was this past week. He's growing appropriately and the doctor said that he's stronger than most four month old babies. He told us to start him on solid foods. Since he's been getting rice cereal in his bottles for months we were able to start with something else. He's been eating oatmeal for the past couple of days and is doing well with it! He even seemed to have an easier time with his shots this month.

He now weighs 15 pounds 14 ounces, is 26 1/4 inches long, and has a head circumference of 16 1/2 inches.

Snow Day!!

As most of you experienced, we had a rather large snowstorm last night. Luckily, today just happened to be our day off. We decided to take Mason out and see how he measured up to the snow totals. At first, he wasn't too sure what we were up to. By the time we were done he seemed a bit curious as to what all this stuff surrounding him was!

So much snow and so little Mason
(yes, the plowed snow went up to the tree branches)
Play time!

Three Months

Mason is three months old already!! He didn't have a doctor visit this month, but we did some measuring at home to check his growth. He spends a lot of time talking and giggling now and loves trying to sit up and stand (with assistance, of course). He's a busy little boy, but so much fun!

He now weighs 15 pounds 4 ounces, is 25 1/2 inches long, and has a head circumference of 16.

Let it Snow

Today we took Mason sledding for the first time. He was very cooperative and seemed to love being in his snow suit!

Ready to go
He's off!
