Welcome to First Grade

Somehow, my baby is a first grader already! He is so excited to get back to class with all of his friends! A bonus this year is that our new neighbor, Aubrey, is in his class too! We went to meet his teacher and get all of his supplies set up. New this year, is actual desks which he thinks is awesome! Fingers crossed for a good year!

Jurassic World

We had the chance to check out the Jurassic World exhibit at the Field Museum yesterday. They had hands on activities for the kids and "life like" dinosaurs from the movie to check out. It was pretty cool!

Chicago Fire Game

For the second year, Mason participated in a summer soccer camp sponsored by the Chicago Fire. One of the perks of the camp is a free ticket to a game where the kids get to attend a clinic on the field. There is a family fun fest before the game too. It's a great time and we look forward to going again next year!

Level 257

Mason chose Level 257 for one of his last family fun days before school starts. He is the only one of us who had been there before so it was a new adventure for most of us. Everyone had fun bowling and playing video games. Both boys left exhausted!
